If you have a child with diabetes and you visit amusement parks you must watch "The Best Kept Secret" A Diabetes Tidbit. My kids don't want me to tell but I am sure many of you will really love this tidbit.
This is a really great tidbit.
I find that when I travel it's best to not be shy about having diabetes. It makes it easier to make sure I get a room with a fridge. I warn the TSA agent about my supplies in my carry on so they don't freak out. Etc.
BTW, I'm not sure, but I don't think Disney is the only one who makes accomodation for medical necesity. You never know 'til you ask!
