My endocrinologist referred me to the Trialnet studies, in particular the study testing GAD injections, and I wanted to know if any of you have participated in this, or have any good information on it. The study that they want to recruit me for is for newly diagnosed Type 1s (within the first 3 months) and the goal is to prolong the life of the remaining beta cells.
I just wanted to know if anyone else had any experience with it
