whose oing to pay for the waste when it goes to the garbage dump and someone looking for "good stuff (ITHO) stabs themself with one of the sharps. It’s not a problem of who pays, it’s a matter of what’s the right thing to do…I think proper disposal of medical wastes is or should be a high priority. But not all think the same way I do…obviously looking here.
rock & roll…I hope you get more involvement that I have from my legislature…they told me to take it back to the Teller county level, because Denver has a system to deal with syringes-so its not a big problem. I dont live in Denver–about 150 miles from it. Asked if I could mail sharps to a Denver collection site was told NO because I dont live in Denver metro area. My county commissioners said it was a public health problem and referred it back to where I started–Public Health Dept in Teller County. PHD said they will research it and all they can take is about 4 syringes a month from me…I started to laugh.
