Well, I celebrated 44 years of having mostly good health with diabetes yesterday! I enjoyed the day being outside in the beautiful sun mowing the grass. Then later my daughter and three grandkids came over so I got to visit and play with them. I am so thankful that I am still around and able to do what I do. 44 years ago I never thought I would be around this long.
Good for you!!! Congrats!!!
Congrat’s Liz…
Yes indeed, you deserve applause and confetti!! I am going on 35 years with db and neverdreamed that I’d still be around, reasonably healthy.
I wish you many good years ahead.
Happy anniversary and many more to come, Liz!!!
I know how you feel Liz. I have 50 years and am thankful for each day I wake up and am able to do whatever I want and go wherever I want.
I can never say congrats to a diabetic anniversary, but I can say how wonderful that you are well and happy.
Keep up the hard - good work.
Thanks for all the well wishes and congratulations! A positive attitude towards diabetes is for sure a big help to living long and dealing with it.
Very encouraging! Here’s to many more healthy years…
I’ve had it for 35 years and my doc told me I would never have kids or live to see 30! Your my hero! Together we’ve lived to prove that ped wrong! I have 2 beatiful girls ( 1 is a Type 1 like me) And one of those girls (the Type 1) now has 2 little girls I love to death! One os 20 months old and the other is 7 weeks old! Now I’m waiting on my 18 yearold to make me a grandma too!!!
