So I've read for several years BEFORE getting my CGM that acetaminophen (tylenol) can throw off dexcom sensors. However, because of my weakened retinas I can't take NSAIDs like ibuprofen AND I use a medtronic minilink sensor, not dexcom.
Will I still have the wacky results on my graph? Anyone know?
Medtronic sensors do not have the problem with Acetaminophen. Only Dexcom does.
So you don't need to worry at all.
