I ordered my g7 sensors on November 3,2024 from adapthealth. The person that took my order was Walter Davis and when he was done with the order he ask me to set up and allow adapthealth access to my personal health numbers from this clarity app does this sound off the wall to anybody. Does anybody have any input to this.
I hope you did NOT give him access. They do not need the information. That is between your doctor and you.
Ive had excellent service from them but I sure wouldn’t allow that!
They have no reason to have access, so no, I would not allow it. I found Adapthealth to be absolutely horrible to work with and changed to another supply house (Bedard Pharmacy & Med. Supplies in ME)
No, do not give access. We already provide too much personal data and since many companies also outsource services and data aggregation, then patients have no visibility to understand who else can actually access health information. HIPPA law(s) have loopholes in the fine print.
They look like a distributor. Why would they need that info? About - AdaptHealth
Amen. They don’t need your Clarity chart to sell their service. Only the Doctor you see for you diabetes should have access to it.
Well everything was fine with Adapt until now. I have Medicare plus the Medicare program that pays my copays. So Adapt sends a bill for Dex copay, March 31. I look at the App which has Optum RX. I have never had Optum. Solera pharmacy girl says that isn’t secondary it is Part D. Yes. Days to get that removed. Then a resolution lady says my Medicare savings program started April 1. NO. My card (which I have sent ten times) says effective 8/2023. My Medicare was effective 10/23. They have 11/23. Medicare.gov and my state all show the savings program was effective in 8/23. The lady continues to argue with me. Never mind looking at the actual card I sent in, that would be too easy. So they put this wrong info in My App. I’ve about had it. I’ve been with them before Adapt and no issues. Until now.
