I'm not sure if this is the right location for this as it is my first post as part of TuDiabetes, but here does nothing.
I work for a great research site in North San Diego county that is looking for Animas insulin pump users to share their victories and defeats of pumping. In addition, they want your feedback on how to make Animas pumps better and more user friendly so here's your chance to vent, praise, or just let it all hang out...pumpwise of course. :-)
You will also be paid for your participation. And a little extra money is always needed.
If you are interested or want more info, email me at arhall@amcrinstitute.com.
Thanks.
Ashley
The meter screen is very difficult to read-it should be the same color as the pump screen. If it is the control unit for the pump why isn’t it legible-very easy to enter the wrong bolus because it is hard to read? Who designed that nightmare? Also the bolus information is in the pump and the BGL in the meter-very difficult to get information quickly since I have to go to two sources. Also the software doesn’t produce a report that combines BGL’s with bolus information-complete insane-the best feature is the remote delivery. I am disappointed that I can’t get any help with the software problems-also can’t run it on my MAC? Does anyone at Animas care about these problems? Audrey Pinney
