OH, that one with a needle with a drop of insulin on the end and vial of Humalog with the PURPLE cap in the background reminds me when I took a BASAL size dose of Humalog by mistake. I realized it as soon as I went to lay the needle down on the nightstand what I had just done. I wrote down on a card what I took, my normal doses, carb ratios etc and what I ingested and when, (to counter the humalog over-dose). I then called a friend to tell him what I did and to call me back in 2hrs, and If I did not answer my cell to just call 911.
I was 1200 miles from home. When I got back home I requessted a switch to Humalog pens so I would not make THAT mistake again…lol

Here is my Week 2 entry
This is how some people learned to give insulin injections. We didn’t though. My husband and I had to give each other saline shots at the hospital, before they would release our daughter.
Jane, I am always terrified with having to use Glucagon con my husband, I don’t know I fear I will not be fast, or something. That is a good thing you knew exactly what to do!
Noah’s little man watching TV on his Cozmo cracks me up. I love it!
