Diabetes can't stop you from doing whatever you want. Avoid the ones that are dangerous to your health. I was making suggestions to help you choose the best one for you.I apologize if this offends anyone.

Let's add stress-free careers (best & worst). Stress is not good for anyone, especially diabetics.

I don’t feel a desk job is all that bad for a diabetic. I worked chat support for AT&THE for 2 years and had less issues than working production. I got my exercise else where as I have two kiddos. My one is now 18 months old and keeps me very busy.

I work in retail and it's not too great. I go low during every shift. It's worth it, though, because I love my job.

Conversely, I have an internship where I get to write in a cafe and it's wonderful. I sit there and drink my coffee and I have no problem.

T1 Diabetics and T2 on insulin/pills are not allowed in the military. I looked into it as a career choice.
