Camp

I have been going to diabetes camps for as long as I’ve been diagnosed. I have made so many freinds and it’s always my favorite week of the whole year. The Northern California Diabetes Society, those that put on the camps, has been hit hard by current economic times. Around three weeks ago I recieved an emial that all camps had been caneled for the rest of the year and it is to my understanding the the Society has been dissolved. This is the most that I’ve been effected by the economy- barred from friends, fun, diabetic knowledge, and a reminder that I’m not alone. If anyone else has ever been to camp and would lilke to share camp memories, it would really cheer me up or if they have any ideas of how to save my camp from the ashes please comment.
