Came across this article the other day on CNN and it really hit home. Did anyone else see this? Thoughts? I frequently stash my pump so that others cannot see it, but I am curious to hear from other women about how they feel with regard to their pump being visible.
Interesting: I usually "hide" my pump in my bra, or wear it on the waistband of pants, jeans,or skirts. I think that most people do not really notice it.. but I like the flowery pump necklace covers: they are cute!!! May order a couple.

I only glanced through the article but I wanted to quickly add my tidbit here. I haven't been using my pump long enough to be sick of it yet and I still wear it proudly like a new gadget and show it off to everyone that asks about my diabetes. I got a black ping but I did buy a purple skin so I can dress it up and dress it down :)
When I made the decision to go with the pump I was very concerned about this, hiding it. I am still worried about it sometimes: at fancy events, at the beach, when I have no pockets, when I'm meeting a bunch of new people and don't want to be harassed with looks or questions... but for every day I just clip it to my waistband or pocket and go about my life. To tell you the truth only other diabetics and ppl touched by D know what it is, many times I had to explain to ppl that is not a cellphone, a toy or an old pager lol.
