faster acting insulin? Sounds cool… but does that mean DKA could develop quicker if one runs into troubles like kinked tubing?

Yup, some evidence presented indicates that insulin pumps should require fater acting insulins. Specially for newer “closed loop systems”. I am guessing that there would still be some Insulin On Board but yes, DKA is quicker when on an pump and no insulin delivery.
