Why would I want to use my hands? I land on the floor 100% of the time! And, in fact, it almost always happens at home!!! (See message from MomsL8.

Ok lock our legs and jump to the floor. oh wait, ahh I had a girlfriend I tired that with once. Neither her father or her dog thought it was good idea. I did not wait to inquire how she felt about it,.

No more! You’re a card! The Joker!!!

Rick, sorry about the ouchie with your tooth. Diabetic’s are more at risk for developing peridontal (excuse my spelling) disease. What peridontal disease is basically a gum disease but causes your gums to loosen up around the teeth and your gums to bleed.
You have to floss and use mouth wash. Please keep your bg’s under control and visit the dentist at least 2 times a year…one of those visits should include a deep cleaning.
Cherise
But feel free to attempt this at Niagara Falls, where flying is far more likely.
Rick
My girlfriends father used to call me a bad penny, you know I keep showing up? That is sort of like a card ?
Rick
PS: Thanks for the fun this evening. Since I cannot work anymore I do not get to have back and forth banter This has been like a good running office tease.
Rick AKA Snaggletooth
Hey Snaggletooth:
How are the teeth doing? I hope they feel much better. I, too, enjoy back and forth banter but it is hard to do this way. It would be better live. Sometimes, I wish this site would do that. It would be hilariously funny!!
Lois
Dear Rick.
My dentist claims that people with diabetes are more prone to gum disease than regular civilians. This will tend to make our teeth looser than they would otherwise be.
Yes i have heard that we are prone to weak teeth. Just another bump in our road to think about. Take Care and step GRACEFULLY LOL:). i SHOULD TALK I FEEL LAST SUNDAY ON ICE.
Hey Lois,
You know I always try to fall up, it is easier to get off the floor when you fall up the stairs.
SnaggleRick
LOL
Well yea you fell on something slippery, Oh and your a beatiful woman, I will guarantee that any fellows watching you ran to help. Any ladies watching me, pointed and laughed.
Oh come to think of it, that is the reacton I was going after. LOL
As my father used to say, if you cant meet, at least get their attention. That may be one of the 500 reasons I had to get him a date after my mom died. You know he owudl go to the mall and if he oculd nto get the ladies to talk to him, he ,ah well lets say he has a gas problem. COnvincing him to stop was unreal. Look you old fart, women dont talk ot old men who smell like that. LOL
Rick
I’ve got extremely bad teeth. My mother and father both have had a problem in the dental area. My Father’s teeth would chip constantly. My mother has had numerous root canals. No one in my family is diabetic but me. So far I’ve had 3 abscesses, and now two of my front teeth are literally decaying in front of my own eyes. I brush twice a day with a pain killing toothpaste, I have prescription mouth wash, yet every 2 weeks or so another piece breaks off sending me to a world of pain.
“splat!” What a fun word.
Elaine,
Splat goes the old man !!
LOL
Rick
Yes I blame it on my diabetes have gum disease even though they all say its my fault I say up theirs.
I have lost a molar because of it an all my other teeth have moved and do feel weaker everyday I fear I may loose another one and the amount of visits I had at the dentist I swear I could be a millionaire by now.
Get it sorted it if you can.
They should talk about the importance of oral care when it comes to diabetes.
