I do. I meditate daily. I take a host of vitamins and herbs (I can go into them specifically if anyone is interested) to prevent and ameliorate complications. I maintain a very “clean” diet: alcohol-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, artificial sweetner-free, organic, and low carb–most carbs from veggies. When I bake, I sweeten with stevia, xylitol, and/or applesauce. I use bone broth whenever possible. I exercise regularly and do my best to spend time nature frequently

Yes, Trail Blazing, Tai Chi, Dancing, Writing, Painting, Gardening, Music Outings, and spending all available moments as possible outdoors. Then enjoying the fruits and vegetables of my joyful work and hobby. When the seasons change, so do my activities and produce. The best work out EVER is the leaf collection season! Can’t get more holistic than burning off your home grown lunch outdoors and jumping into the pile before you haul it away for compost.

My diabetes is not being treated, it is being managed, and my method is to make sure all things I put into my body are nutritious and fulfilling, and then for the chemical and prescriptive ones I make sure that those are absolutely necessary.

Those are the things that work well for me. If I did not have my pump, or all the available tools we have in our hands today, I would still do ALL of the above.

I do tai chi, gardening, I paint, I love to bake and make jams and chutneys from home grown produce, but alas the sugar content prohibits this activity these days. Oh, and I am a worm farmer, love those little wrigglers.

I know it will sound nuts, but I really like being grounded. Like bare feet on the grass for half an hour or more. Started being grounded and blood sugar stabilized and dropped the first night. One can buy products for this to use inside, or just walk around or sit around on bare ground for a while, for free. I like vitamins too.

Yes, I too do things that feed my soul.garden, meditate, swim, and my faith. Nancy

do your feet feel cool when you walk bare foot? if so, maybe the coolness caused your night time temp to drop which led to a better, deeper sleep and so better blood sugars.

A specialist I see turned me onto earthing or grounding products. Where I live I am not near ground floor. I found an instant effect for my blood sugar, pain and stress. I don’t go anywhere without grounding stuff. Some people think it is placebo but I like how it feels. I love it!
