@shoshana27 I was thinking of (what little I know of) your story while reading this one and wondering how you managed to get insulin during that period. Have you written about that here on TUD or anywhere else? To have survived the Occupation as a child with T1 is really incredible to me–it must have taken great determination as well as ingenuity.
