Yay ! Glad to know it arrived and I too agree the 20 foot range is fantastic and in reality it is probably even good to 30 feet. I also read the manual before inserting the first sensor mostly because I didn't want to mess it up and so far so good.
lol thats the part I had to read as well. I was a bit confused. I am more of a visual type of a person meaning I need pictures and captions instead of paragraphs and a pic. my brain doesnt get it. When I started pumping and CGMing, I was lucky to have someone there to show me vs reading the book. I took a few pics that I put up on my photo sections. What a difference on the CGM! I'm all about less packaging to be a bit more friendly to the environment and reduce the carbon footprint.
I watched all the online tutorials Dexcom has before my G4 even arrived - so I was more or less ready for it when it got here. I did worry that I'd make a mistake, but - at least the first time - I didn't and it worked as expected. Had a bit of a fail with the second sensor - it fell off 10 minutes after I inserted it, but Dexcom replaced it, and I've been fine since (so far... we'll see what happens next week :))
I realized that i have to do the 12hr calibration at 4am :(...must plan it better lol
Just do an extra one before you go to bed and it'll be happy. :)
You can calibrate it earlier, and then it will start the 12 hour clock anew
Thanks! I go to bed around 10ish so ill calibrate it then so that way my boyfriend doesn’t have to wake me up at 4am
