Just wanted to share this offer from Accu Chek

It is a free Aviva meter with skins (stickers to make your meter pretty), but most importantly the meter comes with 60 test strips (usually they only give 10). Also, it comes with a MultiClix lancing device. I find the Accu Chek lancets to be the least painful.
I got one of these–ok for back up meter for me–but I found a lancer that I found even less painful–the renew one–it looks odd, but i find it the best–have switched to it–and my BCBS even pays for it–i was shocked-took one to my endo–he tried and liked to
I am T2 and I have been tripping over all the free meters that are SENT to me WITHOUT my requesting them. No, it’s not type, maybe it’s … aw heck! I don’t know. I have even taken to giving the unopened meters to my DR’s office.
P.S. To me, it doesn’t make sense to have a backup meter that is different from your regular meter. Why? Different strips. Just try alternating an order at the pharmacy and see how quick it throws them into a tizzy! Lois La Rose, Milwaukee, WI
