Franziska Spritzler is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator who is passionate about nutrition and believes a low-carb, whole foods approach works best for many people with diabetes. Her website, Low Carb Dietitian, provides information and guidance on carbohydrate restriction for diabetes and weight management. She lives in Huntington Beach, CA, with her husband and works as an outpatient dietitian at the Long Beach VA Medical Center.
Thanks, @Mila. I can’t believe six years have gone by since this video was made. We’ve seen so much inaccurate and misleading information from the dietitians and their professional association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). The AND has been embroiled in conflicts of interest controversy for many years.
Franziska Spritzler has courageously worked to provide her clients and others a more truthful representation and she’s devoted to backing up her opinions with well-documented facts. She’s a breath of fresh air!
