Give a Smile to our Hands

You probably already know Amazon.Com and may have already bought things there. And if you're reading this you almost certainly know the Diabetes Hands Foundation and the beautiful mission they carry out to help people touched by diabetes.

What you might not know is that just by buying at Amazon.Com, without doing anything extra (well, almost anything) you can help the DHF to continue carrying out this great work.

Let's see how this works :

A few years ago, Amazon created the Amazon Smile Foundation, with the goal of helping non-profit organizations through the sales generated on Amazon.Com. When shopping through Amazon Smile, a percentage of the value of the items in your purchase is donated to the organization of your choice, without any extra cost to you.

What should I do?

It's simple, you only need to follow this link: [Give a Smile to our Hands] and the Amazon site will ask if you want your purchases to generate donations to the Diabetes Hands Foundation (it might ask your Amazon's login/password just to know who you are). Once you press "Accept", the homepage you are used to seeing at Amazon will appear, but instead of the traditional Amazon logo, you will see the Amazon Smile logo. That's all you need to do!

From this point, if buy at http://smile.amazon.com (instead of the traditional page) 0.5% of the price of any eligible product you purchase will be donated by Amazon Smile Foundation to DHF.

What products are available to me?

The product inventory at smile.amazon.com is exactly the same you'll find in the traditional Amazon site. You can buy whatever you want, just as you've done so far. However, the donation will be made only on the basis of the products whose specification says "Amazon Smile Eligible".

Does it cost me anything?

No, for you as a buyer, the cost is exactly the same as it would be at Amazon.Com, and the Amazon Smile Foundation makes the donation in your behalf.

So, take advantage of BlackFriday (and next week's CyberMonday) and give a Smile to the Diabetes Hands Foundation . And if you do not plan to buy anything now, any time in the future is good to give a smile ... which never costs anything.

Have more questions? Leave me a comment here in the blog if you want and I'd be glad to answer.

Will do! Thanks .-)
