Just restarted current sensor for week two.
I just love that "window" that starts about day 3 and usually lasts a full 2 weeks or more for me, when the thing is so spot-on that I do (shame on me!) rely on it for treatment decisions.
Over the weekend, I didn't have a single calibration event that was more than 5 mg/dl off from what my meter read. Amazing!
The G4 for me was like restoring sight to the blind. While the pump is certainly an important factor in my being able to maintain tight control, the CGM is, by far, the most impactful tool in that regard.
It's a double-edged sword, though, as we all know. Sometimes ignorance is bliss -- like when it took 6 hours to come down from Dawn Phenom yesterday (splurged on some late-night nachos Sat )
Times like that I'd rather be blind to what my BG's doing, and just see that "snapshot" when it comes back down!
