Hey Steve, Sorry it took so long to get back to you but ya know bad days! How I will qualify for this catagory is that I took diabetes back in 73 and in 92 I had a pancreas transplant that lasted for 2 year til the diabetes came back after 7 different rejection episodes! Life well what can you say! Hi Lowell! I really don’t know where to go with this catagory other than the fact of letting others know that this is out there BEFORE their DR says they have to do it to live another 5 years and to tell the stories of both sucess and failure just to let those out there know not everything works out for the best as far as the pancres goes. It’s great to have a long time diabetic out there that has also had a sucessful kidney transplant! Thank you for the invitation! Me and my big mouth will go on forever if allowed! HA! So’s I’d better go now!
