Thanks for your comments on the current OpenAPS environment. I’m in the early stages of working with my Raspberry Pi OpenAPS project. I look forward to putting my rig into service soon. I appreciate people like you sharing here. I read with great interest.
I love your screen name. When my BG game is on its mark, “crushing T1D” is how I think about what I’m doing. I see my diabetes as the mortal enemy that it is.
As reported by Dana Lewis, OpenAPS community has reached a milestone today: the number of people around the world who have put together DIY AP systems based on OpenAPS has grown to 100!
Feeling grateful and indebted to the people who have volunteered their expertise and countless hours to this project, and have made their contributions open and available.
can you elaborate on the progress that you are aware of with the Omnipod? I’ve been keeping up with the slack channel, but wasn’t sure if you’d seen other progress being made.
I’ve been running an Openaps closed loop for about 3 weeks now and finding it very useful. I’m in process of building out my second rig with an edison currently. It’s much like when I first got the Dexcom Seven plus. I couldn’t stop fidgeting with the thing. Also, thanks for posting videos of your experience with the aps. They gave me an idea of what to expect when I started building the aps rig.
I am finally tipping my toe in. Got my raspberry pi up and running and ordered a tI stick today. I really debated whether to skip the raspberry and go direct to Edison but the documentation is so good for the raspberry.
