How to set up apple watch and Dexcom 5

I just got an apple watch and a new Dexcom g5. I downloaded the Dexcom G5 app and paired it with my phone. I see the app on my apple watch. My question is how do I get the apple watch to show my blood glucose whenever I look at the watch and not have to press the app to see the display. Also how do I get my husband to be able to see the dexcom info on hs iPhone. Is there another app I need to download for this? Thanks for any help.

Go to the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. Then >My Watch >General >Wrist Detection to on. Also, >Eanble Handoff to on. I think this will do it. This should make your Dexcom screen appear (or whatever was the last program looked at) whenever you raise your wrist.

I’m not sure what you mean by “decor info.” I’m not familiar with the G5 info.

Thanks! I think I figured it out from your directions!

looks like @Terry4 got you all set up.

For your husband to see he needs to download the Dexcom Share app.
