How to wear the Dexcom. For 12-year-old, fashion-conscious girl

Hi. I probably posted this first in the wrong forum. My 12 year old niece does not want to feel different and wears the clothing that other girls her age wear (skinny jeans, tight tops, worse in summer). We would like her to try the new Dexcom Seven Plus. She already wears her MM pump backwards, stuffed into her jeans pocket or clipped to her waistband. She does not want to conspicuously wear two devices. Any ideas? I’m assuming one solution would be that the Dexcom can go in a purse she can carry and hopefully not lose.

P.S. Waist-its are out, as well. Can see the outline of the pump/device against her shirts.

good luck! it’s so hard with girls…my six year old is fine with her pump showing, but very picky about which pouches she uses!

My sister has sown altered some camisole style tank tops for a friend with diabetes…just sewed a small pocket in the top lining.

While stopped at a red light the other day, I saw a 16-ish girls with her cel phone in pocket, pump on belt and ipod in matching gel case…not sure where she got them, but she was looking pretty hip!
