I am new to type 2. My first post on tudiabetes

I'd brought my fasting BG numbers down into the 85 to 95 range, consistently below 100. A1c of 5.6. I tapered down from 100mg twice a day to 500mg twice a day, and then once a day, and then quit. All through this time the weight was drifting down and I was much more consistent about everyday exercise.
My glucose level "spikes" a lot after meals, and I've been focusing on bringing that under control, even though the fasting BG has remained good. I eat many small meals, rather than the standard three, and track everything (I'm an engineer... I love data). Even after the overall BG levels were in the good range, I felt that the spikes were making me feel tired and unsettled.

I am not consistently below 100 at fasting more like 109 or so. My random levels during the day are 85 or so. My overall average going on 2 months is 117.2 (AIc of roughly 5.4 if my calculations are correct) and is slowly dropping. Would love to do what you did!!!
