Insulin issues?

That picture is really helpful. You can see exactly where you are talking about without having to play the guessing game.

I think I’ll try the arm spot tomorrow.

On 2 occassions I have suffered this type of insulin resistance, but both times I latter realized I had filled my pod with the last 140 units of insulin remaining in a bottle. My mom also uses insulin & she too claims that sometimes the bottom of the bottle loses some of the normal insulin “punch”.

I can imagine that happening. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) this bottle I’m using is more than half full. I had changed bottles recently I think because I had the same thought.

I have had high BG which I attribute to “end of bottle”. I also have had a change in insulin requirements for no apparent reason; in my case my requirements have decreased.



I am trying to test and fine-tune my basal, bolus and correction rates. There is a protocol and worksheets on Medtronic’s education site that you can use for the test and fine-tuning.
