I’ve been MDI on Apidra for bolus for a long time and like it. Novolog didn’t work for me (low energy and weird cardiovascular issues), and Humolog/Lispro isn’t on my formulary (insurance).
Switching things out every 2 days is doable, but I’m wondering if anyone has successfully used this pump with Apidra.
Apidra clogged in the tubing a lot for me. Had to switch to Humalog. No issues since. Sorry you’re not covered with insurance for Humalog.
Here is prior post using mixed insulins (fiasp) that may work for apidra.
I have been using Apidra with my 630G for 5 years now and have not had any problems at all! Switching to a tslim x2 in May and ( hopefully ) plan to continue using Apidra with the tslim
