DEADLY DIABETES

heh Well… I may agree with some of them. lol There are some “doctors” who’ve gone the wayside so that they can make an extra buck or two off of people’s eagerness for healing their symptoms or conditions… I think I’d be very, very, leery of anything this guy has to sell. I know Susanne Summers is also quoting him and promoting him on her book/site… but she’s also the woman who went to a lot of these wayside doctors to keep herself on hormones to deal with her menopause (even though this treatment is banned because it has shown to cause breast cancer) and ended up with breast cancer, from it. Buyer Beware. I wish the FDA was stricter with some of these clowns.

Here is an example of why I think its a scam:

DROP YOUR BLOOD SUGAR 350 POINTS in 21 drug-free days!

When Billy Cox walked into our clinic, his blood sugar clocked in at 439. Yet in just 3 weeks, he dropped it to a nearly ideal 89 — all without a drop of drugs or insulin injections.

Billy’s secret trump card. In your free report, Dr. Whitaker’s 3-Week Diabetes Miracle, I’ll give you full details about the world’s most lifesaving blood sugar supplement.

My mystery mineral. Vanadium! Never heard of it? Neither had Billy! It’s hiding out at your health food store, but leading a lonely existence, unused by the folks who need it most. My colleagues and I have used it with stunning success for thousands of patients. And in animal studies, this supplement has…

Oh my. lol

Seems to be ‘tentatively’ true… but also, very dangerous, according to Wiki…

"Rats and chickens are also known to require vanadium in very small amounts and deficiencies result in reduced growth and impaired reproduction.[50] Vanadium is a relatively controversial dietary supplement, primarily for increasing insulin sensitivity[51] and body-building. Whether it works for the latter purpose has not been proven, and there is some evidence that athletes who take it are merely experiencing a placebo effect.[52] Vanadyl sulfate may improve glucose control in people with type 2 diabetes.[53][54][55][56][57] In addition, decavanadate and oxovanadates are species that potentially have many biological activities and that have been successfully used as tools in the comprehension of several biochemical processes.[58] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanadium

They sell fake Sham-wow’s at the local flea market called the “Sham-o-licious.” They are almost as cool as snake oil diabetes doctors!

There are safer ways to increase insulin sensitivity than vanadium. I’m going to try the “mini-fast” idea on his website to see if it really works to decrease my weight before I buy anything from him.
