It Burns!

I have tried it all, refrigerated..room temp..short needles...long needles..pen needles..syringes..Novalog...70/30...Levemir, injecting slowly...injecting fast..stomach...arm...thigh??? They all feel like acid when I inject and I get lumps many times as well in my stomach. People ask does it hurt having to give yourself shots? They would never think the shot itself is nothing...the 60 seconds of burning during and after that's another story. The only thing after research I can think of is its the PH level of the insulin. Anyone ever hear of altering your own PH level somehow? Maybe I should try one of the old school type insulin's?

Burning would occur often when I was taking shots mostly when I was taking R or NPH since I have been on the pump though it rarely happens anymore because I am not taking as much at one time is all I can figure...
