Well, Saturday we celebrated Jacob's 5th birthday party. We had the Mad Scientist come and do science expierments for an hour. I followed up at the end of the party by making fake Snow from Steve Spangler's website and the always popular Diet Coke/Mentos expierment.
Jacob had excellent BS throughout his whole party. I don't know what we would do without his pump. He had a huge piece of cake just like everyone else. The look on his face when I set his cake down in front of him was priceless. Stuff like that can bring tears to a mom of a diabetic's eyes. I try to have him lead a normal life as possible, but sometime it is just hard.
He even had pizza for dinner and his numbers were within a good range through the night.
What a great day it was!
