Lada as auto immune disorder

Hey is any one out there that is IR and other creepy stuff? It is almost impossible to get control your diabetes because no two days are a like and if you don't take your insulin it only goes up and up even if you aren't eating and are exercising? Do you have any energy reserves for emergency activity (not just excercise but like have to try to catch a moving metro bus?) when you are taking your insulins. Have you been or are on multiple insulins? Are you tired of hearing that everything is the fault of your diabetes and you are just not trying to "behave"? I read some one;s blog that said that she had bowel nueropathy. What a hoot that was. I have a sister like a bulldog and she won't give up on me. She helped my find this website which is like a life line. My sister has a theroy that more people are likde me than I think and some how she would like to compare notes to see if there is some common thread and if so maybe it can led to a cure or better ways to manange the illness I have. I started life as a type 2 but after having ruptured my appendix it was noted that I was not producing any insulin. However my official med records do not show me as LADA no one in this part of WI has heard of it or cares because diabetes is diabetes. We all know that is not true.

Here is where we are going to start weeding people out. How many that are reading this have polycystic (this is a very bad name for a sleeping time bomb) Men canhave it too, their symptoms are just a little different. This leads to the next step. Nearly all are IR it is one of the identifing factors in men. I recently discovered that diabetes is a form of auto immune disorders. Who among us have more than one?? This would include things as Addison's, MS, arthritis, Osteo, Hashi's for hypo and Grave's for hyper, and the last and least fun Celiac's. I bet many of you who are having trouble with your control has Celiac's disease. I'm 46 years old and just found out I have it even though I was tested for it last year and found negative. I had to do a redo because of ongoing inflamations of the gastric system which also fall under immune system disruption. How many people have also been tested for alpha1 deficiency? I'm what they call a carrier and because the disorder has levels based on how little this protein you have I'm not considered deficient enough for the replacement therapy. Which would mean a bimonthly infusion therapy of a rare and costly drug. Alpha 1 defiency for those of you who haven't heard of it means low body temps. Fevers rarely above 99.1, Try to convince any one that you are seriously ill with that temp!!! early onset of copd usually both types and possible liver damage and most important prone to inflamatory infections of all kinds.

So here is what I want to know - Is any one out there see themselves in this description? I think I have found two people in the blogs is there any one else? Please tell me your story
