Here is the latest announcement for Governor Newson related to California’s efforts to manufacture low-cost insulin:
I don’t know what the future of this activity will hold, but, at the very least, it is indicative that folks are beginning to expend serious money and effort to reduce the cost of insulin.
I will be eager to learn what the community thinks of efforts like this.

CivicaRx came out of collaboration with Mayo Clinic. They were originally gonna manufacture in Utah (in the early days of discussions). That must have changed via the opportunity to collaborate.
You gotta be our official reporter on this because I don’t hear any gossip about it anymore in MN. Everything interesting has moved to the West coast.
