MT releases plans for open source ventilator (maybe? kinda?). Some debate in the comments about how useful these design are. But, our Gov mentioned them in his report today, so I’ll send it your way.
@mohe0001 it could be that Ford is interesting in using these or similar plans as they have stated they would be bringing ventilators to the healthcare sector in 90 days…
And GM is gearing up to build the advanced Ventec ventilator in a 100,000 sq ft cleanroom that used to be run by Delco in Kokomo, Indiana.
And James Dyson has his own design that he is rushing into production …
Fingers crossed that these extraordinary efforts are successful.

Yea, that’s less invasive and for people who are far less sick. Its for ventilation, but its not a ventilator. Ventilators are for people who CANNOT breath and need mechanical assistance. This has gone around a couple times, so I just wanna state the difference.
