Minimed versus Omnipod?

Hi everyone,



Trying to decide on an insulin pump.



Minimed versus Omnipod?



Any opinions from anyone using either is appreciated.



What do you like about the pump?



What don’t you like about the pump?



Would you switch to a different pump?



The good, the bad and the ugly!!!

I have not used the MM Paradigm so I can’t speak for that. I have used the Omnipod since January. I have never had an issue with Insulet CS (in fact, I think they’re great!). I have had some pods fail and, yes, sometimes they come in batches, and, yes, that can be annoying. But for me the pros of the omnipod have outweighed the cons and I am happy with the decision I made.

I’m sure others will gladly post of how much they love their respective pumps as well. Is there any option of you giving them a “test drive” before you buy? Best of luck with your decision!
