Dave - because of this taking place in Canada - the laws maybe different as to what can be released to the public. This has been a problem all along for me in obtaining information so far from both the Kruegers and Medtronic. The Kruegers I believe (am in the process of confirming this with them again) are not allowed to disclose some things to the public - again - I’m having to confirm this with them - as I want to get all my facts straight.
All that Steven’s parents know (he was living in BC at the time - they live in Ontario) - his pump disposed ALL the insulin in his reservoir during his sleep into his body. Hard to believe that it could PRIME that amount (Danny has had an interesting discussion here about the locking the keys on your pump at night), as we are the brains behind that function, so obviously, a malfunction occurred within the S/W is all I can think occurred.
