Does anyone know what how the heck this app works!? I downloaded an app called insulin calculator on my iphone but I can’t figure out what number to put in the corrective factor or carb factor areas. Are they looking for the correction dose needed for a high BG reading and a insulin:carb ratio for the other? Wondering because when it first downloaded the numbers that were in those places as default values were 440 for correction and I think 120 for the other. Those don’t even seem close! When I put in what I think they should be it does seem kind of right but I’m not sure.
Does anyone else work with this app and can you give me some insight?
