I found riced cauliflower in a local grocery store in New England.
If you look up “riced cauliflower” online, one of the major American brands is advertising plain riced cauliflower, a riced blend of cauliflower and sweet potato, and a medley of several riced vegetables.
I’ll look forward to seeing how the creative cooks here utilize these!
Hee - it will never taste like a potato. Best option is to add some low carb soy sauce, bit of veggie, crumbled pork, beef, or chicken, to the birds eye stuff and you get a reasonable sub for fried rice. Tried the new mashed stuff but it never firmed up so it was a tasty (bacon flavored) soup base. still like the steamed florets with butter and salt better than riced or mashed but I’ll keep trying!
