Just a little update -
I think I am starting to find what works for me, though it is still an experiment. Soon after this last post, I woke up in the night, sweating and dizzy - with severe lows, two nights in a row. It was really scary (because I don’t have a CGM, I feel lucky that I woke up…). Anyways, I have mostly figured that out - @Thas was totally right about the mix with Glipizide.
I’m trying to still mostly eat LCHF, but it’s been SO amazing to have a wider array of options (especially dealing with morning sickness, when sometimes looking at vegetables makes me want to hurl). This morning I had a half cup of oatmeal, and let me tell you, it was heavenly.
All together, this transition hasn’t been so terrible. I really appreciate all of your advice!
