It’s the CGMs that aren’t approved during pregnancy. It pertains to the machine, not the person. I think it’s due to the hormones. Not saying you can’t use it, but it means that it isn’t gauranteed to report the correct BG numbers while you’re pregnant.
Hey LIl Mama. I had insulin shock comas and severe lows throughout the entire first trimester… which would be the first 12 weeks. They started around week 6. Just keep calm and stay focused. Once you’re pregnant while taking insulin, your dosages will change almost daily. So, you’ll be able to gain control again. It’s been studied and confirmed that the lows don’t hurt the baby nearly as much as the highs, so you won’t have to worry too much about that either. Good luck!
