Oldest G6 trans to start new sensor?

Yes, around the bicep where I have very little fat. It has worked well, but I think I either hit muscle this time or put it too close to where I had it before, because I am going to have to remove this one, after I soak another sensor over night. This one is working perfectly, but is causing me pain when I move my arm upwards. I did this pain free the previous 4 times. I imagine your muscle is much more developed than mine is at this point in my life.

I have no issues in the back of my arms so that what I use. I just put some higher and some lower. It’s pretty much the only part of my arm that I can pinch any fat.
My sites don’t cause problems like infusion sites do, I generally go left to right for many years.

Lately I see people with them on their fore arms. Maybe they are easier to access but it looks odd.

I am a small person, so I don’t have a lot of arm room. I am afraid I would get compression lows if I used the back of arms.

I use the front of my arms, I just avoid directly on top of the muscle or it can ache. But just a little to the right or left works. That’s the only place I have to avoid is right above the inside elbow where the muscle bulges, even right above that is okay. But I have the back, sides and front I move it around on.

I always put them on the front of the arms, too. Mostly because I have a waterbed, so can’t lay on the transmitter.

I think it was @Laddie who said in another thread that the sensor was in her shoulder. Now I’m eyeballing that spot. I’ve got some soft flesh there, between my clavicle and armpit. Can’t place my next one there, as I’ve got some fancy dress occasions coming up, but I’m definitely trying that spot out soon.

When you experience the expired transmitter alarm in that situation how do you deal with the sensor? I typically have mine already inserted and so its a real pain to unpair the expired transmitter from the new sensor. I also enter in the sensor ID before start and insert/inject the sensor… so its not like im calibrating it after the fact. I just dont understand why the transmitter wouldnt halt from another sensor being added if its expired. It seems simple enough from a programming perspective. I don’t understand why i have to deal with this continuously and its just a pain and potentially wastes a perfectly good/brand new sensor if i rip it off just to place a new one with a replacement transmitter.
