Omnipod injection site

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has had itching at the site where the plastic tube goes under the skin? I have been using the pod system for over a year and a half , and have had no problems, A1C i doing great 7.2/7.8, stays pretty steady, but as of recently, I get a itching on about day 3. Any ideas?

Hello!
I was a podder for about 10 years, a year or two ago I seemed to notice that the tape seemed thinner and a little less “sticky”. Sometimes they would itch a little. I know of several people who need to put down a skin barrier before putting on a pod due to redness and itching. I wish I was of more help! May the next one be itch free!
P.S. Way to go on your great health! Woo Hoo!

The tape doesn’t seem to bother me at all, it is just where the canula goes in.

Most recent recommended A1c to prevent complications is under 7.0.
