I have lived with type 1 diabetes for 26 years ; my age is 68 plus and I broke my wrist in December 2006 …almost 2 years ago diagnosed with osteoporosis and take medication . My GP was very surprised as I am a VERY regular walker and I was glad I insisted to have a scan . My Endo shared with me some time ago : type 2 ladies at RISK .My suggestion to you …have this checked out.
