yeah, tummy upset from eating every 2 hours today…but made it through.
Exhausted from staying up all night monitoring levels, tho.
Supposed to have regular lantus dose tonight before bedtime— smh…do i take it?? do i lower the dosage…

Then lets see if we can find you a new “ritual” so there is no more “double shooting”. Pity it wasn’t short acting, then you could have had some real fun, without the ~tummy whimpering~ later part.
My wife puts pills on the counter top either facing up or down… works pretty good as a system until the cats decide they love the sounds of the pills rattling around in the huge bottle at they turn it into a kitty soccer ball. Or the dog wanting (sic. more) attention, grabbing it off the edge of the counter.
Aside from them, works pretty good.

Confession time! I just did it about 4 hours ago! 20 of each in the wrong place. Just hit 2.1! Bother. Still, means that I can eat what I want. NOW!!! Which explains why I could not get moving after my rest.

Yes Kat, thanks. I am fine. I was lower than 2.1. More like 1.1mmols. Sweating and shaking a bit. Lots of sweets, followed by a packet of noodles and I was fine. Just rather tired.
This is why I wish there were different colours for different syringes - say blue for long acting as I take that at dawn and and night, the other could be a totally different colour, say red, for sunshine times, such as during the day.
I have discovered that the way to get them working a bit quicker is to give them above the belly button, usually the quick acting one, but I gave the both above the belly button.
