Pennsylvania Diabetes school care Legislation

Pennsylvania has recently introduced both the Senate and House legislation for diabetes school care for our children. Currently Pennsylvania is one of 27 States that do not currently protect its over 8000 children who attend school each day with diabetes, a number that has risen by 43% in just 9 years.

Please visit this website dedicated to passing the Pennsylvania Legislation that is far too long overdue. This legislation will only be active until November of 2010 so act now. Send this link to your family and friends, forward it to your school’s PTA, post your remarks, and call your legislators.

There are many links to the bills, your legislators, the ADA, JDRF, and CWD so remaining silent is not an option.

As a reminder, New Jersey is also in the process of passing the same legislation so readers from that area please act as well.
