Pod Placement for amusment park

I am going to an amusment park on the weekend, and I am trying to figure out the best place to put my pod. looking for suggestions, or where you put the pod when you go to amusment parks, I going on all the roller coasters.

Thank you.

Last time I went to a park I placed the pod on my leg, about 6 inches about my knee. It was low enough not to interfere with any of the restraints and worked great! Enjoy your roller coasters.

On the last day, a pod may have lifted from the adhesive slightly. A tegaderm patch may help in that circumstance.

Enjoy!

I took a 7 day trip to Disney World last year, almost right after starting on the Omnipod system. My worries about this ended up being not that bad. I wore mine mostly on my abs, and one ride did squish the pod a bit while I rode it. But it wasn't that bad after all. I ended up with the pods on my arms later in the trip. My fear is that it would get knocked off my arm easily. Didn't happen at all, and may have been easier to protect that I feared.

my fear of wearing it on the arm is that I would bump into someone with my arm (happens all the time to me... being a klutz and all) Thanks for the advice.

Thats what I was thinking too. hope that works, but of course I will have back up just incase.

I favor my the rear of my back. I've never had any problem with that. The pod squashes into my back very conveniently so I have no problem with things pushing or rubbing against it. All other locations I've had problems because of accidental rip-off as a result of walking into something, or pulling clothes off too fast.

I think *any* location is fine if you have something protecting it. I've used a wetsuit with no problems; the wetsuit keeps the pod in place just fine and prevents it being ripped off - something would have to rip through the wetsuit to detach it.

I've seen other people report no problems with an unprotected pod diving into water, and I have the same experience though I've only tried it once. It seems the pod is sufficiently streamlined for the water not to rip it off.

so funny everyone has a different opinion Jacob has been twice choosing belly site thinking arms and legs would get bumped more on rides no issues with pod I was worried about lows but the excitement and fatty park food overran this he ran very high but made it through....tough days for mom, he was with friends connecting to me via texts! have fun!!! amy
