Hi Spooky…Kenny…I’ve had a few pod failures…called and talked to an Insulet rep and they’re replacing the failed pods. They also said to call them when I opened the last box in order to insure that I wouldn’t run out… My prescription is for a pod change every 3 days…just had my “spa date” and changed it out a few minutes ago. What happened the last time??? How often are you having to change your pods??
did you call insulet??? I just had the same problem. I have one pod left and I called them and they said my shipment was going out on the 9th but the guy sent it out on the 5th… I dont run out. Its just i had a ■■■■■■ 3 boxes and have about a full box of failure and never called to get them to send me new ones, so thats my fault but they are sending me more sooner because I need them… : ( I’m sorry
Hey Kenny - Do you have the number of your local Insulet rep or trainer? I had a similar situation not because of pod failures but because I hit a couple of bad sites and was going to end up short for the month due to replacing them before the 3 day mark. I called my local trainer to ask about the site problems and not only did she answer my questions, but she drove to my office to drop off a handful of spare pods. I agree with everyone else. Ask your endo to write the RX for more than one box per month and call Insulet, preferably someone local. They’ll hook you up!
