Anyone with diabetes is a CHAMPION, be they T1, T2, T1.5...... It does not matter. We all struggle every day. You are most definately a champion.
Oh my. How do you insert the "ten penny nail" needle of the sensor in your arm? Doesn't that hurt like !!!! Never put the pump insert on the abdomen
Am going to start a new thread....
I'm a T2 and I'm not put about the line of questioning being aimed at T1's. There should be no reason for a war. T1's do have a special perspective as do T2's but it is slightly different. I as a T2 do not have the years of experience with insulin that a T1 does. Although I have had D for twenty years I have been insulin dependant for only a little over a year. I'm sure there are T2's out there with the experience to answer this question but the numbers pale in comparison to the seasoned T1's.

Right you are Gary ...besides knowing of some type 2 pumpers, I also know personally of quite a few type 2's , who deliver insulin " daily " for a long time and for a short time .
hahaha. don't think it would be much of a war. They've got the numbers. All we've got is the antibodies.
There was one member of the "Flatliner's Club" who mentioned having a shot of vodka? I sort of do the same thing, as I do them at the crack of dawn, while I'm still pretty fuzzed out...
I can't stick the CGM sensor into my arm by myself. My wife helps. and so far, it's been painless. I saw a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaN_iPP-wq8) of a girl who sticks the sensor into her arm by herself. I don't have the dexterity for that.
