@Mari5 - Our trikes are made in the UK by a company called ICE Trikes, there are a number of different manufacturers, notably HP Velotechnik in Germany and Azub in the Czech Republic. Ours are only human powered (that’s 2 lp, for 2 leg power, BTW), but there are some battery powered options where the battery can assist your pedaling efforts.

In the hot, dry, west there were any number of times that I imagined my bicycle crank as the crank arm on an ice cream machine. That was especially true after I walked into the Virginia City Creamery in Montana, and saw their homemade ice cream machines churning away.
