Scar Tissue and Insulin Absorption

I wrote a blog today about Scar Tissue and Insulin Absorption. This has been a major issue during my 67 years with diabetes. I like to advise younger insulin dependent diabetics about the dangers of scar tissue, and how to avoid it. The blog is too long to post here. If you are interested, here in my blog site.

I've been T1 for 3 1/2 years and already have some of that "tough" skin on my abdomen. I am trying hard to rotate more and really appreciate your advice, Richard!

Wow, thanks, Richard! I have been on a daily insulin shot for little over a year, and I inject it into my abdomen because it is so painless. I never gave rotation a thought.
