Stop and go...Stop and go...Stop and go

Have you ever been in the passenger seat of a driver who you are unsure of their abilities of driving? My dad is a stop and go driver. Meaning you do stomach crunches with your seat belt on unless your seat belt gets smart and stops you before your face hits the dashboard. Do you get the picture, yet? Well, I feel like this is a good mental grasp of my diabetes for the past 10 days. I am driving along on the road of life…and it is almost lunch time, slow down fast b/c you have to eat when your blood sugar is 70! Eating…speed up now b/c your blood sugar is 245 now. My blood sugar is stop and go…I just want to be able to put the cruise control on sometimes!!! I think when my diabetes is going through this is when my burnout really happens. It takes so much out of me that I feel that I have nothing left. Can I go to the dr. to get my basal rates adjusted…no! Can I call my dr…NO! See my next blog post…
